Manual Handling Training Courses
Course Key Facts
Manual Handling training is a legal requirement for any employee who is required to pick up, put down, carry, push or pull loads that have the potential to cause harm. The aim of this course is to keep your team members safe and fit for work, while protecting your organisation from injury claims and prosecution. On successful completion of this course the student will be trained to move/support objects safely and your organisation with be able to prove compliance with The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992.

Course Accreditation/Certification
Successful students will be awarded a CHT Level 2 Safe Manual Handling in the Workplace certificate which will remain valid for three years is nationally recognised and qualifies for 3 C.P.D. hours. Assessment, accreditation and internal quality assurance are provided by Castle Hill training in accordance with The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992.

Course duration 3 hours.
Up to 15 delegates can attend a group booking at your site.
Students are assessed by multiple choice test and completion of Manual Handling practical assessment.
The course requires students to be able to read and write English, if this going to be a barrier to learning please contact the training company well in advance of the course to discuss how support can be provided.
There is a practical element to the course and students must be physically fit enough to lift and move light weight box from the floor.
Because of the practical work, it is recommended that students wear loose comfortable clothing and sensible footwear.
