Fire Warden Training Questions

What is the difference between a Fire Warden and a Fire Marshal?
In most organisations there is no practical difference. The terms are generally used interchangeably, with different employers simply preferring one title over the other.
Can the training be delivered at our premises?
Yes. All of our Fire Warden training is delivered on-site, allowing delegates to learn within their own workplace using their organisation's fire procedures and evacuation arrangements.
How long does the course take?
The standard course lasts approximately three hours.
How many delegates can attend?
The course is designed for groups of up to 12 delegates, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate and ask questions.
Do delegates receive a certificate?
Yes. Successful delegates receive a CHT Level 2 Fire Warden Certificate, valid for three years and providing 3 CPD hours.
Can practical fire extinguisher training be included?
Yes. We can include an optional practical fire extinguisher session using training equipment. Please mention this when requesting your quotation.
Is the course suitable for care homes?
Yes. We regularly deliver Fire Warden training for care homes, nursing homes and other health and social care organisations, tailoring the training to reflect their particular fire safety responsibilities.
