Emergency First Aid at Work (our one day course)
​in Barnsley
The emergency first aid course (EFAW) is our most popular qualification and is designed to ensure you become a qualified first aider. It provides students with life saving skills and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies.
​You can book this course at your premises for up to twelve delegates.
First Aid at Work (our three day course)
​in Barnsley
 The first aid at work course (FAW) is standard choice for anyone wishing to become a qualified first aider in a larger organisation, perhaps with more staff or members of the public. Alternatively, certain industries  where there may be more hazards such as construction or manufacturing also favour this level of training. It covers a wider range of scenarios and goes into more detail than Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.

Basic Life Support (our half day course)
The Basic Life Support course (BLS) designed to teach students how to keep the casualty alive until medical help arrives, this is sometimes known as basic life support. Many organisations use this qualification as annual first aid refresher training or where employers are keen to have a large number of team members trained to deal with a first aid emergency.

Paediatric First Aid (our two day childrens first aid course)
​in Barnsley 
This qualification is designed for those working with infants under one year old, and children aged from one year old to around twelve years old. It is ideal for parents, child minders and babysitters. Furthermore, it meets the requirements of the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as issued by the Department for Education and Skills Foundation Stage relating to Early Years Childcare.

Defibrillation (AED) and Resuscitation (our one day course)
Please note that training on AED's, Automated External Defibrillators, sometimes called Defibs is now part of both Castle Hill's  1 day first aid course and our 3 day first aid course so a specialist training course may not be required.
This course has however been designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to administer basic life support and use a defibrillator in an emergency.
