It is a wide-ranging sector but managers in the textile services face common health and safety challenges.
By delivering this course in-house at your site we can further tailor the training to suit your organisation's needs. We can incorporate your health and safety policy, the risk assessments you use, your accident history/accident investigation procedures into the training course.
Wet and dry cleaning workers are particularly vulnerable not just to accidents at work but also to workplace illnesses. Evidence suggests that good health and safety management can reduce accident and work-related illness by up to 70%.

IOSH Managing Safely training makes laundering & dry cleaning safer
IOSH Managing Safely gives your managers a good understanding of the risk assessment process and practical cost-effective ways of controlling textile care risks. After the course, they will understand what their legal responsibilities are and how to reduce the chance of personal injury claims due to negligence. We look at the composition of health and safety management systems, how they can be audited and the best ways of measuring performance.
The three-day IOSH course will hopefully dispel some health and safety myths, as well as look in detail at the major causes of accidents and ill health associated with laundries and dry cleaning.

However, if it would work better for you to spread the training over four sessions or to organise the training in a three-day block this can also be arranged for no extra charge.
The total course price for up to 10 delegates is £2000. This price includes IOSH workbooks, project packs, training, assessment and certification.
