Our IOSH Managing Safely training course for Landlords, Social Housing and Property Management is focused to be relevant for managers who work in the diverse property management sector, ranging from commercial property letting agents to housing associations providing supported living for vulnerable tenants. It is a wide-ranging sector but duty holders for properties face common health and safety challenges.
By delivering this course in-house at your site we can further tailor the training to suit your organisation's needs. We can incorporate your health and safety policy, the risk assessments you use, your accident history and current accident investigation procedures into the training course.
Every year there are thousands of accidents in rented property, some of them fatal, directly linked to the condition or maintenance of the property. However, evidence suggests that good health and safety management can reduce accident occurrence rates and associated compensation claims by up to 70%.

IOSH Managing Safely training puts the Health and Safety into Housing and Property Management
IOSH Managing Safely gives your team a good understanding of the risk assessment process and practical cost-effective ways of controlling risks found when letting property. After the course, they will understand what their legal responsibilities are and how to reduce the chance of personal injury claims due to negligence. We look at the composition of health and safety management systems, how they can be audited and the best ways of measuring performance.
The three-day IOSH course will destroy some health and safety myths, as well as look in detail at major causes of accidents and illness in the property management.
