By delivering this course in-house at your site we can further tailor the training to suit your organisation's needs. We can incorporate your health and safety policy, the risk assessments you use, your accident history and your accident investigation procedures into the training course.
The number of reportable accidents in the Food and Drink Industry has halved in recent years but there are still thousands of accidents every year, many of them major. Evidence suggests that good health and safety management can reduce accident rates and claims in food factories by up to 70%.

IOSH Managing Safely training will improve Food Factory Health & Safety
IOSH Managing Safely gives your managers a good understanding of the risk assessment process and practical cost-effective ways of controlling food and drink manufacturing risks. After the course, they will understand what their legal responsibilities are and how to reduce the chance of personal injury claims due to negligence. We look at the composition of health and safety management systems, how they can be audited and the best ways of measuring performance.
The three-day IOSH course will also look in detail at the twelve main hazards in Food and Drink production which are responsible for over 96% of all accidents in the sector.
